NBA’s All-Time Top 10, The HeldHorses.com Way.
ESPN has come up with their top 10 NBA players in the history of the game. It was a great list. All the expected names made an appearance. MJ, King James, Bill Russell, and Wilt, all made the list. The Editor at HeldHorses.com thought it was a great attempt, but figured we’d give it a try.

MJ, Lebron, at one and two is a no-brainer. This is where our list starts to get better than ESPN’s. At 3, Magic. Magic wins 5 championships in ten years, also adding to Kareem’s longevity. Magic wins first Finals without Kareem. At 4, Bill Russell is “The Champion”, but he played in a time in which he won a championship while being the Head Coach. At 5, Kareem’s all-time numbers speak for themselves. 6, Shaq. Shaq’s physical ability was freakish. 7’1, 340lbs and moved like a cat. No big man matches Shaq’s physical dominance. 7, Wilt. He scored 100 f’n points in a game. Because of Wilt, dunking was outlawed. 8, Tim Duncan. The Big Fundamental was cool under pressure and an assassin. He just went about his business of systematically destroying his opponent. 9, the late great Kobe Bean Bryant. Nothing else to say but Mamba Mentality. 10, Larry Legend. Dream Teamer, 3x champion, sharpshooter. Larry won by making plays.
This list is better than yours, ESPN, and whomever! We said what was said.
